The Winter Session is almost done. Forty-nine students joined us this semester to sing, dance, act, and have a lot of fun. We have a wonderful, on-going group of kids who have formed strong friendships and wait eagerly for the start of each session. It's a joy to watch their excitement and delight as they greet one another on the first day and cheer one another on as casting is announced. We also are pleased to welcome several newcomers to our Junior Class, our youngest students. In all the classes, the kids get right down to work and are amazed when we announce that it's six o'clock and time to go home. The Junior Class is working on Music Theater International's HONK JR. This is the first time we're working on this material, and it's absolutely adorable. The other two groups are doing shortened versions of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, a welcome return for us to this classic of gore and glee. We look forward to the learning and rehearsal process as we work toward our recitals in late March and early April.
