Actors Needed: Cold Readings for a HOT Summer

Are you looking for more opportunities to act? Want to hear a play out loud? Interested in newer plays? Sign up to read for Elmwood’s Cold Reading Series.

On July 21st, August 4th and August 18th actors will be able to perform cold readings of newer plays at 11 AM in the Tarson Studio. No auditions and no rehearsals. Interested actors can sign up to be a reader by listing which Saturday they are available by emailing Tiffany Card. Plays and cast will be chosen based on who is available. She will email those participating in the reading a PDF of the play and ask they show up an hour early to assist in setup and go over any questions.

This is an opportunity to practice your cold reading skills, be exposed to newer works, as a reader or audience, and a way for Play Selection Committee or directors to hear something they might want to consider for the next year.
