Audiences Awestruck by “A Lesson Before Dying!”

Opening weekend audiences were moved to their feet – and to tears – by this heart wrenching story, and by the passionate performances of our cast. The importance of love, compassion, and education was a lesson learned by all who attended. Audience members asked if the show could be taken to other venues; some spoke of plans to come back with groups of friends; and many thanked us for presenting this important and thought-provoking play.

Many thanks to our awesome cast for bringing their talent and passion to our stage – Hasan Gray, Marquis Wilson, Tracey McAllister, Andrew Beadle, Simone Palmer, William White, and Elmwood President (and fast study!) Steve Taylor, who stepped up and into the role of Sheriff Guidry when our Rick Levi unfortunately had to step down.
