Cold Reading Series to Continue Saturday, August 18th

After the success of the last two cold readings, “Airline Highway,” and “Sweat,” Elmwood will close out its summer series this Saturday.

BUT never fear, we will continue this opportunity throughout the fall. The cold reading series provides actors with an opportunity to practice their craft, and hear a new play.

It provides directors with an opportunity to see actors they may want to consider for future productions and garner ideas for future plays they may want to pitch to play selection. And finally gives us all an opportunity to gather and love theatre!

Some of the plays being considered this fall are “The Humans,” “Circle Mirror Transformation,” “Mother F*cker with the Hat,” “The Apple Family Plays” and a new play by a local “celebrity.”
