Derek Tarson To Reprise His Very First Role 43 Years Ago
NOTE: This is NOT an Elmwood event
As some of you already know (and as announced at the last membership meeting), Derek Tarson has been cast in the very same role that he played in his very first full-length production in high school – 43 years ago. He will be playing Saul, the old station master, in a production of “Ghost Train” at the Nutley Little Theatre from October 15th to October 30th. Here is a picture of him in costume both then (1978) and now (2021). Elmwood member, Damon Fischetti, is also in the cast as the newly-married attractive young passenger trying to make sense of all the unexplained events.
The show is campy, spooky fun. It’s 1931. A small, remote railway station in coastal Maine. Six passengers are stranded on a cold rainy night waiting for the train the next morning – but will they survive the night in a station haunted by “The Ghost Train?”
