ECP Set Construction Committee Welcomes You!

 In News

re you interested in helping create our backstage magic? Are you unsure how to get involved? We maybe able to help you! Our Set Construction committee has created an ECP Work Sessions email group.

This group receives regular updates on days when the shop will be open as well as ongoing projects, both on our productions and around the shop and storage. The magic that is an Elmwood production requires lots of craftspeople, and we have lots of opportunities across lots of disciplines. Unsure how to properly measure and cut a piece of molding? (admit this – you WANT to know what those tiny lines in between the big numbers mean) Maybe you want to embrace your inner creative geek. Or you might be seeking an outlet for your urge to organize. Whatever your passion, we can help you find a mission. And you can learn valuable skills at the same time!

To become a part of this group simply reach out to our committee chair, Rob Ward, at rward@hvc.rr.com, state your intentions and you’re in! And if you know of any non-members who might be interested/gullible/bored, encourage them to reach out too! Our constantly-improving shop space is neat, tidy and user-friendly – and populated by a dedicated group of mentors and apprentices.

Our Elmwood Community Playhouse magic doesn’t just happen – coaxing, prodding and producing make that magic possible. Come join our merry band!

I can be reached on my cell (redacted for privacy), leave a message! I’d like to discuss your requirements! I live in Valley Cottage!
