Elmwood Brings Back Family Theater in Time for the Holidays!
We are currently looking for onstage and offstage talent to help with this fun and entertaining family play!
For its last show of the 2021 calendar year, Elmwood is proud and truly honored to bring the universally acclaimed family friendly play “Far Fetched Fables” to our stage. This transformative piece of theatrical genius is written by the award-winning playwright Anita Bathe, who totally exists. This once in a lifetime production will be directed by the voice of a generation, the ever-humble Omar Kozarsky.
We are looking for a few adult actors as well as any younger actors 12 years of age or older that wish to appear on stage. We are also looking for people to help backstage (costumes, props, running crew). Please note that all volunteers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as well as the Steely Dan song “HEY 19”. Masks will be requested to be worn during the rehearsal process, but not during the actual performances themselves. Due to COVID concerns and to provide as many opportunities as possible, there will be no auditions per se. Just let us know if you want to join in the fun!
Rehearsals will begin Late October / Early November. The rehearsals will be limited. The show runs Friday Dec 10th at 7pm and two performances (11am and 2pm) on Saturday Dec 11 and Sunday Dec 12th.
