We are saddened to share that Elmwood member, Dr. David A. Chmielewski, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 26. A lifelong theater lover, David is fondly remembered as the lead, George, in Elmwood’s production of Sunday in the Park with George (2014). A celebration of David’s life will be scheduled at a later date.
David’s obituary can be read here. In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s honor can be made to: United Hospice, or Elmwood Playhouse. David was a beloved and devoted father, son, brother, and husband. Elmwood’s deepest condolences go to David’s family and friends.
