Elmwoodians Elsewhere

 In Other News

We applaud Elmwoodians where ever they shine! One benefit of membership is that you can share brief announcements of your upcoming appearances at other venues. Whether it’s a play, musical, or any other performance, you can let fellow members know where and when you will be performing. Keep it concise—just two or three sentences with the vital info–and please note, we won’t be including images or links to external websites. Do not submit announcements through the “submit news” link. Instead, email these brief announcements to meanwhile@elmwood.com. We will publish the announcements we receive on the final Thursday of each month. Get ready to shine in the spotlight and celebrate each other’s successes!

Steve Taylor will play the role of the villain, Governor Otto Von Richterhenkenpflichtgetruber in a seriously funny production of Desperate Measures, a musical based on Measure for Measure, at the Armonk Players, performing at the New Castle Public Library in Armonk. Book by Peter Kellogg, and great songs by David Friedman. Evening performances June 7, 8, 13, 14 and 15, with a 4pm matinee on June 9.

Bea Pohl will be performing in her multimedia theatrical production, Illuminate the Darkness—Women of Color, at Nyack Library on Juneteenth, June 15 at 2:00 pm. The production is written and performed by Bea and this is its last showing before she takes it to the Fringe Festival in Scotland. There is no charge for the performance, but space is limited.
