Elmwoodians in Antrim Playhouse’s “The Humans”
NOTE: This is NOT an Elmwood event
“The Humans” by Steven Karam, the 2016 Tony Award Winning Best Play is being produced at Antrim Playhouse and open this Friday (10/11/19) and runs for three weekends. Elmwood Actors Scott Nangle, Mara Karg and Normajean Pfautsch are starring in the show. The play is also being directed by long time Elmwood director Joe Albert Lima.
The play is a dramedy that centers on the Blake family Thanksgiving in one of the daughter’s shabby Chinatown duplex apartment. The family –mom, dad, sister and grandma–arrives from Scranton, PA to laugh, argue, and eat around the table. But also dished up are fears, real and imagined, experienced by many Americans dealing with life today.
The set was designed by David Julin and the lighting design by Mike Gnazzo.
