Forever Young is a Blast from the Past on July 22!
Forever Young will rock the stage at Elmwood Playhouse on Sunday, July 22!
Forever Young is one of the NY Metro area’s premier Doo Wop & Oldies bands. The group plays 50s, 60s and 70s oldies from the likes of Dion & the Belmonts and The Duprees to Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis. With four strong and experienced lead singers backed by lots of tight doo-wop style group harmony and instrumentation, they are a true BLAST from the PAST and you will be transported!
Forever Young was established in 2000 and has opened for such groups as Jay Siegel and the Tokens (“The Lion Sleeps Tonight”) and The Persuasions (world renowned acapella group). They have played shows for the late doo-wop impresario Ronnie Italiano and venues such as the NJ Doo-Wop Association. They pride themselves on being true to the doo-wop harmonies and the oldies classics and they love keeping this music alive!
The Forever Young-sters are all veteran musicians and are residents of Rockland and Westchester Counties. Members include:
Stu Iselin: Keyboard & Vocals
Ira Bernstein: Bass & Vocals
Barney Griffin: Lead Guitar & Vocals
Peter Karanikis: Rhythm Guitar & Vocals
