Come for the July membership meeting and stay for the workshop! This play by Derek Tarson, and starring Derek and Debbie Buchsbaum, first premiered at the Studio Theater in Exile in Peekskill, and this will be the second performance.
The play is inspired by the “A Man and a Woman” diptych by Matvey Levenstein, in the background of the attached photo, which hangs at the Hudson Valley Museum of Cultural Arts in Peekskill. “Emma and Louis: 1926” explores the accommodations that a married couple will make for one another and the limitations beyond which no reconciliation is possible.
The membership meeting is at the theater (10 Park Street) on July 6 at 7:30 pm and usually lasts about an hour. After a break for refreshments, the workshop will begin. You do not need to be a member to attend. All are welcome!
