Seeking Actors and Feedback for a Work in Progress Reading Saturday Aug 26

 In News

Local writer and Elmwood member Nata K will be workshopping 2 one-acts she is writing: “Paradise Jurisprudence” and “The Last Diner in New Jersey.” The reading will take place on Saturday, Aug. 26 at Elmwood Playhouse. Actors and a small “audience” willing to provide feedback are needed. The reading will begin at 9 am and should take about an hour.

Paradise Jurisprudence: Two angels argue over the minute details of a person’s actions to determine the fate of their soul in their final judgment.

The Last Diner in New Jersey: Two people discuss how society and work has changed over the years, as they dine at an establishment that’s struggling to stay open.

This is an informal workshop reading. (Coffee and bagels provided!) The purpose is to hear how the works sound and gather feedback for potential revisions and improvements. If you are interested in participating in this creative endeavor, please email Nata K at natakproductions@gmail.com for additional information, no later than August 23rd. She will provide interested actors with the scripts and confirm space for interested audience members.
