The World Famous Musical

The long awaited community premiere of the world famous musical, based on the classic novel by Victor Hugo.  Set in early 19th century Paris, the story centers on the struggles and redemptions of ex-convict Jean Valjean and the lives he touches.  15 years on Broadway, Les Miserables received 8 Tony Awards and is considered one of the best musicals of our generation.  Elmwood is proud to be among the first theatres in the Hudson Valley to present Les Miserables.
