Sundays at 7 present: Sheridan Rúitín

We are thrilled to present the acclaimed Celtic-Irish band Sheridan Rúitín! The band was born in the Spring of 2020 in Congers, NY. Towards the end of 2021, the group began creating their own arrangements of traditional Irish songs and writing a few originals to eventually become their debut album, “Rebels in the Night.” The band has since been added to the bills of major Irish festivals in the USA and is currently working on new music and a second album.

The band consists of brothers Billy and Johnny Houlihan, cousin Shannon Cokeley, and her husband, Tommy Mazzarella. They are joined by old friends John Damiano on drums and Mike Zayas on bass.

Sheridan Rúitín takes over the New York suburbia Irish music scene by filling the gap between Celtic rock and traditional Irish folk ballads. https://www.sheridanruitin.com/home
