Jimmy Lugo. Jim is a familiar face to the Rockland/Bergen County theatre scene. He has served on the Elmwood board for the past eight years and previously served as treasurer in the 1990s. Since 1983, Jim has contributed his talents to Elmwood on stage, backstage, and as producer, advocate, and representative. In the past few years, he guided the organization toward sound investments, helped to create the Elmwood Legacy Society, and was instrumental in obtaining financing for the $600,000 renovation project. He currently focuses on fundraising, marketing, and advertising activity, and extends his corporate support as a financial advisor in the fields of wealth management, corporate asset management, estate planning, transfer and succession planning, life insurance, and lending/debt management. With a background in business and finance, Jim is a graduate of Saint Thomas Aquinas College. He also studied at The Wharton School, Rockland Community College, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. A local Rotarian and graduate of Spring Valley High School, Jim loves to give back to his community and support his love of the theatre. He lives in Congers with his wife Maria, son Christian, and daughter Amanda.
