A weekly highlight of what’s happening in the Nyack / Rockland Community and how you can be involved. This week: People to People

Over the next few weeks we’ll highlight what’s happening in our community and suggest ways Elmwoodians can stay involved until we start doing shows again. This week we feature People to People, Rockland County’s largest food bank. Even in these difficult times, they continue to serve over 4,000 clients a month. They need volunteers at their facility, 121 West Nyack Road in Nanuet, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, to stock shelves and pack boxes. Extra help is need on May 12th when they will be unloading about 50,000 pounds of food.
