The Velveteen Rabbit Enchants Audiences, Young And Old

 In News

The Velveteen RabbitOnly five performances of “The Velveteen Rabbit” left of this special holiday presentation of the beloved children’s tale about learning to love and be loved in return.

Using a mix of live actors and puppets, this timeless story directed by Derek Tarson opened last weekend to rave reviews from some of the toughest critics out there — children. Youngsters sat spellbound and silent as the magic of theatre took them on adventures with Young Steve and his best friend, the Velveteen Rabbit. After the show, they flocked round the cast to get autographs, pose for photographs, and shake paws with the wonderful rabbit puppets created by Jennie Marino.

So come to Elmwood this weekend, with or without a child, and rediscover the wonder and joy of becoming real.
