“Virtually Elmwood” Series Debuts “The Show Must Go On” By Michael Edan

Elmwood is happy to present the first of what we hope will be lots of online presentations.

“The Show Must Go On” was written just days ago by Michael Edan, and features many of our Elmwood regulars.

Michael writes:

With inspiration from Steve Taylor, Elmwood is venturing into online theatre with the Virtually Elmwood series! This first offering is a play recently written in response to a challenge from a group of theatre grad students in California to write a play focused on the present Covid 19 virus pandemic. It is a serious issue affecting lives in profound ways, but I felt writing a comedy would hopefully serve to lighten people’s moods. My gratitude goes out to all the actors who participated, and especially to Steve Taylor who not only was the mastermind behind this idea to keep theatre alive at Elmwood, but also did a great job with the technical aspects of editing.
