has had the opportunity to direct and/or choreograph many shows on the Elmwood stage. Some of his productions include Cabaret, Hot Mikado, Gypsy, and Spring Awakening (choreography). He is thrilled to be bringing Smokey Joe’s Cafe to this stage. “You can’t go wrong with great music and dance from an era of rock and roll, now gone, but forever etched in our souls.”  Leiber and Stoller leave us quite a legacy. He thanks a dedicated production staff and a cadre of technical geniuses and artists who listened patiently when asked “I’d like…” and “what if. . .?” He would also like to thank his multi-talented cast who happily rehearsed each number “one more time”, over and over again.   Cal sends his love to his very understanding and supportive family.
