is excited to be returning to Elmwood after his debut here several years ago as Tateh in Ragtime. A versatile singer/actor with a wide range of repertoire, Dan’s earned critical raves for his opera work with Eugene Opera, Sacramento Symphony and Opera New Hampshire. Favorite roles: Marcello in La Bohème, Escamillo from Carmen, and the title role in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi. Concert stage work: Beethoven’s 9th Symphony in San Francisco’s Davies Symphony Hall, Carmina Burana with Redding (CA) Symphony, as well as working with New York Choral Artists under the baton of such luminaries as Riccardo Muti and Kurt Masur. Musical theatre work includes leading roles in South Pacific and The Mikado. He’s also worked with children extensively, writing songs for Disney and Nickelodeon as well as performing and creating five award-winning albums as family performer Danna Banana. He lives in Rockland County with his wife and three children.
