We're always amazed at how quickly our set constru

We're always amazed at how quickly our set construction crew can disassemble one world and create the beginning of a new one. We brought the lights down on I Hate Hamlet Saturday night and on Sunday morning our set construction workers (and all the other behind the scenes folks) were hard at work. By the afternoon, we had the beginning of a set for our upcoming production of Dial M for Murder! Talk about the magic of theater! Visit our website to learn how you can get involved. Closing night of I Hate Hamlet at Elmwood Playhouse in Nyack is bittersweet: We are thrilled with the response to the first production of our 80th season, but so sad to see it end. Congratulations to director Kathleen Mahan and the cast, crew, and creatives (stay til the end of the video to see the stars who shine in the dark) on a fantastic run and a wonderful kickoff to Elmwood Playhouse's 80th season! And we're very excited about our next production: Dial M for Murder opening November 13!

Don't miss a word of this amazing production of I Hate Hamlet at Elmwood Playhouse in Nyack! In our 80th season, we are proud to continue offering a captioned performance on the final Thursday of each production. For I Hate Hamlet--that's this Thursday, October 8. Although we began offering captioned performances to ensure that Deaf and Hard of Hearing theater lovers could enjoy our productions, the performance is open to all!
The professional captioners from the premiere captioning service C2 never miss a beat--so you can catch every word of this fast-paced, hilarious play on the digital caption display.
Sadly, the captioned performance is also the sign that we are heading into our closing weekend. I Hate Hamlet closes on Saturday Oct. 10. Only three public performances remain: Thursday Oct. 8, Friday Oct 9 and Saturday Oct. 10--all at 8 pm.
