Grace Callahan

Grace is excited to be performing on stage again and making her Elmwood Playhouse debut. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, she received her Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance at the Manhattan School of Music and her Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Duquesne University. While pursuing her Master’s, Grace performed in and co-wrote “Beauty and the Baritone”, a 45-minute show performed in NYC schools to teach children about opera. She has also sung in the All-Star College Chorus with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra under the baton of the late, great Marvin Hamlisch. Grace is an accomplished violinist (performing with a touring orchestra across Italy, China, and Germany), Scottish fiddler (top-5 ranked National Champion), and pianist (received her diploma in piano at age 18 from the American College of Musicians). You can often find her singing in churches across the tri-state area!

Credits include: Godspell, Glinda (The Wizard of Oz), Ida (Honk!), Defying Gravity: The Magical World of Stephen Schwartz (Ensemble), Beth (Little Women), Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro), and Blanche (Dialogues des Carmelites).
