speaks both Spanish and English fluently. She has done various short films (A Life Takes a Number, Respect a Thin Line, The Photo Shoot) and was a featured extra in a True Blood promo and The Electric Company.  She has also appeared as a guest on MNN.org’s Are You a Star or Just Bizarre? and Off-Off Broadway in Since I Laid My Burden Down.   Joelle is currently writing her first full-length play, Lost Faith, and filming a TV pilot, Higher Education, that she also wrote.  She wrote and directed her first short play, Nothing, which was presented at Rockland Community College and at the Shades Repertory Theater, where she also played the leading role of Janelle. Joelle studied with Tiffany Jaide Hightower from HighSi Films and at the Rockland Conservatory of Music with vocal coach Julienne Marshall.  She is attending Rockland Community College and received the Spanish Heritage Award in October 2011 for artistic talent. Her main goal is be successful in the entertainment industry.
