Nivia Viera

Nivia Viera is no stranger to the power of storytelling. In 2001, she founded Kids X-Press, Inc. a not-for-profit that encourages children of all abilities to express themselves through writing and art and then publish their content in an award-winning magazine. Nivia developed innovative corporate partnerships that paved the way for geographical expansion of Kids X-Press nationally, into Europe, Canada, and Latin America. During her tenure, she established relationships with a wide spectrum of programming and community partners. In retirement, Nivia turns to storytelling in the theater. Serving on the boards of theater programs such as On Broadway Performing Arts Training Program and The Liquid Theatre Collective. She also invests in developing musicals such as Little Dancer and It Happened in Key West.
