is happy to be back at Elmwood. Her last musical adventure here was Ain’t Misbehavin’, and she appeared in a workshop production directed by Candy Pittari. Yvette recently did background work on HBO’s The Leftovers, airing sometime this year, and she can be seen (her BACK, that is!) as she shakes Liev Schrieber’s hand (I’ll never wash that hand again!) in Jonathan Demme’s The Manchurian Candidate. (My back is nice but now…”I’m ready for my close-up, Mr. Demme…”) She also appeared in the independent films A Zero In The System and Revolution #9. Yvette studied comedy with Lewis Black and Scott Blakeman, solo performance with Joe Gilford at Ensemble Studio Theatre, and song interpretation with Betty Buckley. She can be heard narrating for “The Itsy Bitsy Spider” song on the Bossy Frog children’s CD. She earned her B.F.A. in Acting from Boston University. Love, gratitude and blessings to Mom Laura for funding that endeavor and her love and support! The same to Andrea (super Sis) for putting up with me during this whole extravaganza. For Dad Lionel (up on high), thank you for instilling in me your great love of the arts and for being Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me. Thank you Cal, Chris, cast, crew, and the band for all your support and hard work. XO!
