What to cook when you’re in the mood for turkey and it’s not Thanksgiving?
Walkaway Turkey Drumsticks 6 Servings Preheat oven to 400º F
6 turkey legs
3 tablespoons oil
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Preheat oven to 400º F. In a small bowl, combine all ingredients except the turkey legs; mix well. Place legs on a rack in a roasting pan and brush evenly with the oil mixture.
Baste occasionally while baking for up to 1 1/2 hours or until the skin is golden brown and no pink remains.

Slow Cooker Recipe: Sweet-Spiced Sweet Potatoes
Cook Time: 7 Hours Low or 4 Hours High
4 servings or more depending on portion size
2 pounds sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1/4 cup dark brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter, cut into 1/8-inch pieces
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Combine all ingredients, except butter and vanilla, in slow cooker; mix well. Cover and cook on LOW 7 hours or cook on HIGH 4 hours*. Add butter and vanilla; stir to blend.
*Cook time is dependent on how soft you may enjoy this vegetable.

Cranberry-Pineapple Gelatin
1 can crushed pineapple, in juice (20 oz.)
2 pkg JELL-O Raspberry Flavor Gelatin (3 oz. each)
1 can whole berry cranberry sauce (16 oz.)
2/3 cup walnuts, chopped
1 apple, chopped
Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Add enough water to juice to measure 2 ½ cups; pour into saucepan. Bring to boil. Pour over gelatin mixes in large bowl; stir 2 minutes until completely dissolved.
Stir in pineapple, cranberry sauce, walnuts and apple. Pour into desired serving bowl; or spoon into 24 paper-lined muffin cups.
Refrigerate 2 ½ hours or until firm. Remove liners.
