Spicy Maple Pecans
Preheat Oven (or Toaster Oven) to 400 degrees F
3/4 cup pecans
2 teaspoons maple syrup
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
salt
Line baking sheet with parchment paper. In bowl, mix pecans, maple syrup, cinnamon and cayenne pepper. Spread mixture onto parchment paper. Sprinkle with salt.
Bake 5 – 7 minutes until nuts are darker in color and aromatic. Sprinkle with a little more salt, and let cool. Nuts will harden as they cool.
These nuts may be refrigerated up to one month. Enjoy!
