Won’t YOU Join Ken in Becoming a Monthly Sustainer?
Season’s Greetings!
My name is Ken Hatlee, and I like you, love theatre, and more importantly, Elmwood Playhouse. I first became acquainted with the Playhouse in 2003 when a few friends invited me to see them in a show. What I remember most about Elmwood was the intimate, charming space, the friendly people who made you feel welcomed, and how amazing I felt as I stepped out of the theatre. I knew then I wanted to be a part of the Elmwood community.
That wish came true when I was lucky enough to perform at Elmwood a few years ago in “Boeing, Boeing“. This past year I became a monthly sustainer because after experiencing a global pandemic that caused everything, including Elmwood to temporarily shut down, I realized I wanted to help make sure when they were ready, they could open for good. Elmwood Playhouse is really like no other. The intimate space allows you to feel as if you are part of the story.
I know that you receive countless letters asking for support at the end of the year and that the pandemic affected all of us, our families, and our friends emotionally and economically. However, if you are one of the lucky ones who can give, I know Elmwood could use your help. Please join me in becoming a monthly sustainer at the level that’s most comfortable for you.
A $10 a month donation would be a tremendous show of support. The hope your gift provides is significant to every one of Elmwood’s theatre artists, members, subscribers, and audience members. They are even offering a thank you for your gift.
- $5 – $24 a month Elmwood Canvas Bag
- $25 – $49 a month Elmwood Mug
- $50 – $100 a month Elmwood Umbrella
You can also choose “no gift for me, thank you.”
I hope this time of year finds you able to safely gather in person with your friends and family and I look forward to seeing you all in 2022!
Best wishes,
Ken Hatlee
