Our Young Elms Theatre Camp had a wildly successful week from Aug. 10-14. Campers and parents alike were thrilled with the creativity and energy of the experience. The compliments and kudos at pickup and in emails made clear that the camp had brought the magic to Elmwood! “Wow! Bravo …you go above and beyond with these kiddos!” To top it off, each child received a wonderful video (created and edited by Jason Summers) full of the fun and memories.
And while sharing the joy of theater with the next generation is a worthy goal in and of itself, the camp had the added benefit of boosting awareness and appreciation for Elmwood!
Our thanks and congratulations to Camp Director Jason Summers and Counselor Maddie Clark, as well as Board Members Kathleen Mahan, Dylan Coonrad, Steve Bermack and all who helped to conceive and execute this amazing initiative.
